Areas of western Placer are scheduled for treatment for West Nile virus and mosquito activity. An EPA-approved mosquito adulticide will be applied in an ultra-low volume (ULV) fog by truck to target adult mosquitoes.
Treatment areas (Click map for larger image):
- Critter Creek Road and W. Knickerbocker Drive, south of Nicolaus Road and east of Brewer Road, on the outskirts of western Lincoln
THE FOLLOWING TREATMENT AREAS ARE RESCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 9, 2010:
- residential streets off Watt Ave., between Baseline Rd. and PFE Rd.
- residential streets north and south of Baseline Rd. and west of S. Brewer Rd., including, but not limited to, Elder Rd., Locust Rd., Lowell Rd., Browning St., Newton Rd., and Elorduy Ln.
