Planned Ground-based Adulticide Treatments
What: Adult mosquito treatment
Where: Lincoln Crossing
When: Thursday, September 10, 2020 4-5:30 a.m.
Areas of Lincoln Crossing are scheduled for a ground-based adulticide treatment due to high adult mosquito counts and positive West Nile virus mosquitoes in the area. An EPA-approved mosquito adulticide will be applied in an ultra-low volume fog by truck to target adult mosquitoes.
Since several factors, including weather conditions, affect treatment activities, the District encourages Placer residents to check the District website for any changes to the treatment schedule and accompanying maps of the planned treatment areas.
