Several areas of Placer county are scheduled for treatment. An EPA-registered mosquito adulticide will be applied in an Ultra-low Volume (ULV) fog by aircraft in an effort to address increased mosquito populations and West Nile virus activity.
Treatment areas (click on the maps for a larger picture):
- north Lincoln – Residential areas west of Old Hwy. 65, up to just east of Aviation Blvd. and south to 5th Street.
- Critter Creek Road and W. Knickerbocker Drive, crossing Nicolaus Road and east of Brewer Road, on the outskirts of western Lincoln
- west Roseville – residential areas west of Fiddyment Road between Blue Oaks Blvd and Baseline Blvd
- north Elverta – area off of Locust Road, between Riego Rd. and PFE Rd.
Since several factors affect treatment activities, such as weather and wind conditions, the District encourages Placer residents to check this website regularly for any changes to the treatment schedule. For an overview of our mosquito control programs, you may view the District video.
