The Placer Mosquito and Vector Control District is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees.
One trustee is appointed by each incorporated city or town and the Placer County Board of
Supervisors appoints one. To be appointed, the member must be a resident voter of the
representative city (or county for county member) in the District. Board member duties
and responsibilities include setting policy, approving the budget, working with the General Manager to accomplish the District's mission,
and retaining legal counsel. The trustees serve a two- or four-year term without compensation,
but do receive an allowance of $100 per month for expenses incurred while on official District business.
The regularly scheduled Placer Mosquito & Vector Control District Board of Trustees
meetings are held on the
third Monday of each month, starting at 4:30 p.m., at
2021 Opportunity Dr. Roseville, CA 95678. All meetings are
open to the public.
