The Sheridan community and agricultural areas along the western Placer border are scheduled for treatment. An EPA-registered mosquito adulticide will be applied in an Ultra-low Volume (ULV) fog by aircraft in an effort to address increased mosquito populations and West Nile virus activity.
July 16, 2015 treatment areas:
- Sheridan (click on the map for a larger picture)
- western Placer county, east of South Brewer Road between Sunset Blvd. and Baseline Rd.
July 17, 2015 treatment areas:
- agricultural areas west of Lincoln, between Nicolaus Rd. and Moore Rd.
Since several factors affect treatment activities, such as weather and wind conditions, the District encourages Placer residents to check this website regularly for any changes to the treatment schedule. For an overview of our mosquito control programs, you may view the District video.
